Brunch starts with what’s in the glass🥂 Set the tone for the morning with something a little more special than your usual cup of coffee, something like a floral iced latte, something bubbly and celebratory, or a pretty mocktail she can sip slowly. Spring drinks to make her feel truly treated♡
I recommend brew your coffee and prep your mocktail bases the night before, so you don’t have to rush in the morning! Add your flower just before you serve to make it extraordinary!
- Lavender Vanilla Iced Lattes
- Chamomile Iced Latte with Vanilla
- Lilac Lemonade
- Grapefruit Rosé Mimosas
- Prosecco Punch
- Rose and Lavender Margarita

Sweet Brunch Bakes

The sweet bakes might be my favorite part of the whole table. Think light, soft, and pretty, the kind of thing that feels like spring arrived on the plate and makes everyone want to linger just a little longer.
Each one has that soft, delicate quality that feels special. And just like the drinks, a little edible flower on top goes a long way. A daisy on a scone, a pressed flower on the coffee cake. It ties the whole table together and makes everything feel like it was made with love💕 If you are making scones or muffins, You can make them up to a week ahead and freeze them. Just pop them in the oven on brunch day and they taste freshly baked!
If you’re making crêpes, set out a little pot of lemon curd, berry jam, whipped cream, or even whipped honey if you have time, so worth making, and very spring 🐝
- French Crêpes
- Strawberry Granola
- Whipped Ricotta with Honey Croissants
- White Chocolate Raspberry Scones
- Glazed lemon loaf

Now the main event 🍳 After the sweet bakes, it’s time for something warm and satisfying! Something light but not too heavy, because there is more food coming! (Main cakes!!)
If you are hosting brunch, it is always nice to pick something that can be made ahead or held at room temperature, like the frittata and asparagus tart. If you are having a small family brunch, eggs benedict or dutch baby is a fun idea!

Something crisp and light alongside the warm dishes really completes the table, and if you can, pick spring vegetables to make it feel extra seasonal 🌱
Chopped fruit or simple vegetable sticks are always a nice to have, especially if guests are arriving one by one and want something to nibble on while the drinks are being poured!
The spring pea salad is honestly my favorite, it goes with almost everything and takes minutes to put together. Oh, and always keep the dressing on the side and toss right before serving so everything stays fresh and bright!

After a full brunch, I love ending with a posset, a fool, or a panna cotta, simple and refreshing. Easy to make, even easier to make ahead, and if desserts are light enough you could absolutely do both a little something sweet AND the cake 🤭
If you’re doing a celebration cake, I recommend a cream layer cake topped with fresh fruit and flowers. The messier the finish, the more intentional it looks!
And if a layer cake feels like too much, my strawberry yogurt cake is my personal recommendation! It’s made with real strawberries, packed with flavor, and the whipped yogurt cream keeps it light. A bundt cake with icing and flowers is also a beautiful option, the shape does all the work for you!
- Lemon & Elderflower Posset
- Raspberry and Cream Fools with Amaretti Crumble
- Strawberries and Cream Sponge Cake
